This is about the art I created: Season: Fall (in Digital)

I like the depth between the background, tree, and the maple leaf. As it overlaps, in digital, there are no white spots left, which there are some in analog. Actually making this in digital, I found out that the colours become too solid, the analog brings a better texture to the overall painting. I may need to add free textures that fit the maple leaf somehow.

Season: Spring (in Digital)

I liked the way how it turned out. There aren’t any details of the analog drawing anymore, but can feel the same theme, “spring.” I like drawing/taking photos of natures and animals, and I personally like how I have created the bird. I believe the reason I can tell this is a bird is by the black beak and lines of the tail, and the white on the stomach.

My Work: Cyborg Self Portrait

This is a talk about the art I created: Cyborg Self Portrait

I have not looked at any machine closely, so I had to look at some of the sources in order to know how a cyborg or machinery is like. As I create this, I cared mostly two things: How real the fruits should be, and the way to show metallic objects.
I had a lot of difficulties finding the colour that shows the fruit perfectly, so it feels idealized. (Go to this IdeaBlog to know why realness mattered in this art.) Actually, many people may come up apples and bananas in their mind if they heard the word fruit, but since those are the two fruits I could eat, I decided not to put inside.

Can a cyborg have the head off? Are cyborgs like this?
This is still a question in my head which disturbed me all the time while I was creating this. I hope it is. I have tried my best to show the reflection on the metallic part, which I had a hard time, especially on the fork and knife. Thanks to the gradient tool in Adobe Illustrator.

My Work: Industrials and Environments

This is a talk about the artwork I created: "Industrials and Environments"

I liked the way how the photo of a neon sign turned out in my artwork. The light up part became fire, and its background colour was used to create a pollution kind of feel. 
I love natures and I've been taking nature photos when I find them beautiful to me. What I wanted to do was to put mechanics and a contrast colour onto it to made the photo harder to tell the beautifulness of nature so I could have a better tell of the possible effects.

I personally like the window being linear-lighted. It shows the flow and gives a calm sense in overall art. I also like art that seems normal, but in some place weird. For instance, the leaves are shown only through glasses, and the bottom seems that it is a real tree, but on top is the shadow.

I played in this art. I just thought whether natures and mechanics go together, helping each other. How can there be electricities through trees? What a big chandelier! I had a lot of fun.

My Work: Battle with Time

This is a talk about the artwork I created: "Battle with Time"

This artwork was created using only the sources from scanners and the materials around me. I personally liked the way how metallic objects came out after it's being scanned. It showed the contrast clearly and beautifully. Here's one of what it came out after I scanned.

I also liked the way how there's only one colour placed on each piece. Blending them to the monocoloured artwork worked well together. I have spent a long time changing the value and the level in Photoshop. I never thought objects would turn out this clear in scanning. 

Whether noticed or not, the watch band connects the three artworks.

It can be shown as an artwork independently, but I like how I put connections between.
